Build: type into a part, then tap + for another part. Parts get joined with your separator.

V inserts a variable like [date]. # inserts a common tag like "draft" or "final".

Variables fill in from:

• [date], [time]: today's date and time
• [author], [project], [version], [type]: the fields under Name.Rules

Rules: pick separator, case, extension and length. Short (8.3) trims to an 8 character name with a 3 character extension.
